The Art of Jehovah's Witnesses
An important aspect of the unique culture of Jehovah's Witnesses is the art and illustrations that appear in the Society's publications.*  Like all such religious artwork, each image is carefully designed to invoke emotion or sometimes to reinforce doctrine or often it is meant merely to illustrate complex bible teachings or to bring to life the stories of the scriptures.

The following are excerpts from various publications of the Society together with my comments. Persons may also be interested in examining the specious topic of so-called subliminal messaging in the art of Jehovah's Witnesses. Please note: the page may take a few moments to load if you have a low-bandwidth connection as all images per publication are on one webpage.

*As a reminder, the source publications are (potentially) still the active copyright of the Society so only limited use is being made here of a small number of excerpts under the principle and doctrine of fair use and comment. If you are interested in obtaining any of these publications, please contact the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses to see if they may be available.
Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained
From 1958, the illustrations in this publication are wonderful specimens of the "Golden Age" of Watchtower artwork.  Some of the most curious images ever published by the Society are contained in this well-titled work.
